Murumuru Butter

Murumuru Butter is a unique butter that is ideal for all types of hair and skin. Murumuru butter is rich in vitamin A and C and Omega fatty acids 3, 6, and 9. The main fatty acid found in this butter is Lauric acid and it also has myristic acid, oleic, palmitic and linoleic acids. Murumuru butter’s natural gloss brings a desirable and healthy looking shine to dry, damaged hair and smooths out dry lines on the skin. Because of the shine it gives and its non-greasy feel, it is sometimes used as a natural replacement for silicone locking in moisture and nourishing the skin and hair.

Shea Butter

Unrefined, or raw shea butter is an unparalleled and superior moisturizer with excellent skin healing properties. Shea Butter can soften and protect against drying while also increasing local capillary circulation in the skin which helps skin stay healthy and clear. Raw Shea butter is full of Vitamin A and E which can help increase skin elasticity and firmness.

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is technically more of a wax than an oil. Grown in a harsh desert environment where most plants cannot survive, the jojoba plant survives by sealing its pores agains the elements. The oil works in a similar way for the skin and prevents water loss which is one of the primary causes of aging. Jojoba will gently coat the skin to protect while still allowing the skin to breathe. Container	Compostable paperboard tubes were the natural choice for us because they are completely biodegradable, and easily home or facility composted, which makes this lip balm a great eco-friendly and zero waste alternative. We use earth-friendly labels that are made from natural tree-free sugarcane and are 100% home or facility compostable including the adhesive. Now you can feel great about your lip balm tube not contributing to a landfill. We chose to make the switch from a more common plastic tube, made from petroleum-based plastic to these 100% paperboard tubes. Because plastic lip balm tubes are composed of many different types of plastic (ie the dial is one type of plastic while the tube is another type) they are often not accepted for recycling at all. This means that lip balm tubes are often single-use plastic.
